Prior to that, from February 2012 to March 2017, Ms. Tao worked as a managing director for Summitview Capital and, from October 2010 to January 2012, as a partner for Ariose Capital. Ms. Tao also serves as the South Pasadena City Treasurer where she oversees the city's investment portfolio and provides independent oversight for its finances. Ms. Tao received her Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
