In its 2026 interim report, Willfar Information (Willfar) reported 1H26 revenue of RMB1,067mn, down by 22.02% YoY, while the attributable net profit (NP) was RMB202mn, down by 33.68% YoY. For 2Q26, revenue stood at RMB535mn, increasing by 0.56% QoQ, with the attributable NP at RMB54mn, down by 63.53% QoQ. We attribute the short-term pressure on 2Q26 NP to delayed tender invitations from some customers and short-term GPM fluctuations. In 1H26, the company signed new contracts of RMB1,306mn, and as of end-June, its order backlog stood at RMB3,823mn, forming the bedrock of future earnings. Looking ahead, we think that the company should continue to benefit from industrial opportunities brought by China’s new power system and Digital China initiatives, and are optimistic about its growth potential in overseas markets. Maintain OVERWEIGHT.

Earnings forecasts and valuation
Considering the impact of delayed tender invitations from some customers, we lower our 2026-2028 revenue and NP forecasts. We now project 2026/2027/2028 attributable NP of RMB681/812/954mn (down by 21/21/22%). We value the stock at 24x 2026E PE (previous: 26x 2026E PE, due to valuation changes among comparable companies), at par with its peers’ average on Wind consensus, for our target price of RMB33.24 (previous: RMB45.38). Maintain OVERWEIGHT.
Risks: Amount of winning bids below our estimates; disappointing overseas development; accounts-receivable collection risks.
