William G. Bock served as our President from June 2013 to February 2016. He served as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President from February 2013 until June 2013. He had previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration from July 2011 to December 2011 and as Chief Financial Officer from November 2006 to July 2011. He joined Silicon Labs as a Director in March 2000 and served as Chairman of the Audit Committee until November 2006 when he stepped down from the Board of Directors to assume the Chief Financial Officer role. Mr. Bock rejoined Silicon Labs’ Board of Directors in July of 2011. From 2001 to 2006 Mr. Bock participated in the venture capital industry, principally as a partner with CenterPoint Ventures. Before his venture career, Mr. Bock held senior executive positions with three venture-backed companies, Dazel Corporation, Tivoli Systems and Convex Computer Corporation. Mr. Bock began his career with Texas Instruments. Mr. Bock currently serves as Chairman of the Board of SailPoint Technologies Holding Inc. Prior to its sale to Lightspeed, Mr. DeSimone was the President and CEO of ShopKeep, a cloud-based technology solution that transforms an iPad into a smart, connected cash register that is Home Plate Acquisition Corporation ed by more than 24,000 small businesses, from 2015 through the acquisition of the company by Lightspeed in November 2020. Mr. DeSimone is a global chief executive, with more than 30 years of experience working within the financial services and technology industry. As President and CEO at ShopKeep, Mr. DeSimone led the strategy to sustainably grow and scale the business, which processed approximately $8 billion in transactions in 2019.
