He was responsible for the establishment of the Center and its development as a source of expertise and policy insight on issues related to consumer credit and payments. He continues to serve on the Center’s industry advisory council. From 1996 to 2000 he was managing director of the Financial Institutions Center at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Scott Dowty has served as our Executive Vice President - Enterprise Sales since July 2016 and served as CardConnect’s Chief Sales Officer from October 2014 to July 2016. He has served since November, 2014 on the board of directors of Astound Group Inc., a marketing a design company operating in exhibit and trade space, and has served since August, 2016 on the board of directors of Passport Technology Inc., a European cash services company. Prior to joining CardConnect, Mr. Dowty had served in various executive management positions at First Data International, a merchant services and transaction processing company, since 2000 including as Vice President of National Sales, as Senior Vice President of Sales for Latin America and Canada, and as General Manager and Country Manager for Canada.
