Mr. Cooper began his career in Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneurial Services Group and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School’s Executive Development Program and American University, where he earned his B.S. in Business Administration.

Alan Shapiro has served as our General Counsel since May 2017. From November 2007 until December 2016 Mr. Shapiro served in various roles, including most recently as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, at Everyday Health, Inc., a provider of digital health solutions. From September 2002 until October 2007 Mr. Shapiro served as General Counsel of NetRatings, Inc., a global Internet media and market research firm. From April 2000 until July 2002 Mr. Shapiro served as General Counsel of Jupiter Communications, Inc. and its successor company, Jupiter Media Metrix, Inc., a provider of Internet media and market research services. Previously, Mr. Shapiro worked as a corporate attorney at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP and Dechert LLP.
