She is a finance executive with more than 26 years’ experience in the areas of management, finance, development and operations in the precious metals industry, banking and public finance. She has led major mining treasury, corporate and project finance operations, and recently managed the real sector, revenue and tax policies of the government of Ghana. Mrs. Quartey was the Group Treasurer of Ashanti Goldfields Company from October 1991 until 1999 when she resigned to set up her advisory firm. He is a fluent Spanish speaker and spent several years at the Kuwait Investment Office in London dealing with its portfolio of investments in Spain. Mr. Spora has a track record of developing a strong pipeline of exploration and development projects as well as executing on greenfield and brownfield exploration strategy through systematic and disciplined implementation of processes. In addition to exploration experience, he has experience in corporate and operational due diligence and project evaluation and acquisition. Mr. Spora holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science, Geology from The University of Technology, Sydney.

In recognition of her contributions to responsible mining, she has received the Atralian Centenary Medal and was named one of Women in Mining's 100 Global Inspirational Women. Furthermore, she has led teams that have been recognized with several indtry hons, including the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada Award for Environmental and Social Responsibility, the Atralian Minerals and Energy Environment Foundation Award for Environmental Excellence, and the Mines and Money ESG Producer of the Year Award, among others. Ms. Varris holds a Master of Science in Natural Resces from Curtin University, is an AIMM Chartered Environmental Professional and UK Committee member and is qualified with Corporate Directors International. Ms. Varris has served as Head of Stainability and Impact for Oryx Global Partners Limited since 2024. She has previoly held similar positions for Horizonte Minerals from 2022 to 2024, Golden Star Resces from 2011 to 2022 and others.
