Flyco Electrical Appliance (Flyco) released its 1H26 results: 1H26 revenue was RMB2,019mn (-4.56% YoY), attributable NP was RMB359mn (+11.95% YoY), and recurring NP was RMB338mn (+14.72% YoY). In 2Q26, revenue was RMB1,019mn (+6.34% YoY, +1.93% QoQ), and attributable NP was RMB171mn (+21.93% YoY, -9.40% QoQ). In 1H26, Flyco optimized its operational strategy and expense mix. The Poree sub-brand captured lower-tier market traffic, with its sales contribution rising significantly, and profitability further recovered. Looking ahead to 2H26, with the deepening of the dual-brand strategy and the development of overseas markets, the company's operations could continue improving, in our view. Maintain OVERWEIGHT.
Revenue decline in core offerings narrowed
By brand, in 1H26, Flyco's key brand revenue was c. RMB1,518mn, down 10.95% YoY; the Poree sub-brand achieved revenue of RMB501mn, up 21.90% YoY, with its sales contribution rising to 24.92%. Adhering to the "extreme value-for-money" positioning, Poree captured the consumption stratification trend and lower-tier market traffic, with its portable series and high-speed hair dryers receiving favorable market feedback. By product, the revenue decline of the company's core categories narrowed. Electric shavers achieved revenue of RMB1,414mn (-0.32% YoY), hair dryers achieved revenue of RMB349mn (-11.95% YoY), and categories such as electric hair clippers and nose hair trimmers also saw YoY revenue declines. Overall, personal care appliance consumption in China shows a "K-shaped" divergence, and the company's dual-brand strategy effectively offset the structural pressure brought by consumption stratification.
Profitability kept improving
In 1H26, Flyco's gross margin was 60.07%, up 2.55pp YoY, benefiting from pricing strategy adjustments and product mix optimization. During the same period, the sales expense ratio was 32.53%, down 0.72pp YoY, owing to reduced promotional and experience store expenses; the gross-to-sales spread was 27.54%, up 3.27pp YoY, indicating a clear recovery in core business profitability. In addition, the G&A expense ratio and R&D expense ratio were 3.61% and 2.16%, respectively, down 0.30pp and up 0.32pp YoY, with their sum remaining broadly stable. Ultimately, the 1H26 attributable NPM was 17.80%, up 2.62pp YoY, confirming a clear bottoming-out trend in profitability.
Strides made in overseas markets
Flyco continues to build its two competitiveness pillars of "R&D innovation" and "brand operations." Based on the consumption traits of young consumers born after 1995 and 2000, it is driving product R&D toward intelligence, fashion, and youthfulness in four directions: technology, classics, trends, and IP culture. During the reporting period, Flyco launched 10 new product series, including shavers and high-speed hair dryers. Overseas market expansion achieved a breakthrough, with first-batch orders in some countries delivered and products beginning to sell at retail terminals. The company will continue to advance its brand globalization strategy.
